Grown by Luis Pedro Zelaya, this coffee comes from the municipality of Antigua Guatemala, the capital of the Sacatepequez Department. Mr Zelaya and and his team meticulously process fully traceable lots by harvest date, location, variety, and altitude. Coming from four generations of coffee growers, he processes the coffee in a perfected, traditional way that goes back 100 years.
This coffee is fully washed and dried on patios and elevated tables inside solar dryers that provide protection from the rain. It consists of Bourbon and Caturra varieties and was grown at 1500 – 1650 masl.
