BANKO GOTITI
YIRGACHEFFE
::: canned peaches, jasmine, berries :::
This lot of 74110,74112 and Heirloom varieties was grown high up at 2300 masl by about 500 coffee growing families around southern Yirgacheffe. This coffee was washed at the Halo Beriti washing station, located just outside of Gedeb town on the slopes of the surrounding mountains and dried on raised beds.
The Mijane family coffee producers have a reputation that precedes them and it is a pleasure to have their coffee on the menu for a second time. Do you remember the Halo Hartume a couple years back? This one is a pristine example of the Yirgacheffe region, abundantly ornate, clean and complex. The deep fruit and broad floral notes make this one hard to stop sipping!
